Mission & Vision Statements

Mission Statement: Sharing Christ’s love through faith.

Vision Statement:  Faith United Methodist Church of Delmont, over the next three years, will be transformed by making disciples for Jesus Christ by:

• Ensuring a biblical and spiritual worship experience.
• Exploring the need to create and implement a contemporary worship service as a third service.
• Continuing the Hospitality Ministry by reaching out in the the community through Fish Fries, the Pilgrimage, Apple ‘n Arts Festival, funeral dinners, and other social events.
• Building an energized youth program.
• Expanding Christian education, beginning with our worship with God and extending to our Sunday School Program (for all ages), Bible Studies, Vacation Bible School, Young Group, Children’s Moment, a post-High School Ministry, and other Christian Education Programs.
• Exploring innovative ways to evangelize.
• Continuing to create an environment where all people can live out their passion for Jesus Christ by caring, forgiving, and loving one another.
• Increasing our involvement in Missions and Justice through local and global outreach ministries, with emphasis on racial inclusion and meeting the needs of the physically challenged.
• Actively nurturing our church family, including all age groups.
• Developing new ministries as our church continues to grow.
